Julie A. Choi is an associate at The Gillam Law Firm focusing on all aspects of employment law for individuals and in classactions. Jule graduated from Wellesley College in June 2005 with a B.A. in Philosophy. In 2011, she received her Juris Doctor from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. In law school, Julie was a Senior Notes Editor for the Hastings Law Journal.

After completing her first year of law school, Julie worked as a law clerk for Public Counsel Law Center, helping to advocate for indigent clients in obtaining their benefits through Public Counsel’s General Relief Advocacy Project. During her second year of law school, Julie worked as a judicial extern in the Law and Motion Department of the San Francisco Superior Court where she analyzed and recommended rulings on various motions, including summary judgment, demurrers, and motions to quash. During her last year in law school, Julie worked as a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Criminal Division where she made court appearances in front of magistrate judges on misdemeanor matters.

After graduating law school, Julie moved back home to Los Angeles where she recently joined The Gillam Law Firm in October 2011.
